Welcome, Solopreneurs.
Today we are going to learn about 5 different services to start and launch your website in under 15 minutes. And at the end, I'll share what I'm using and why.
A website is the home base to all entrepreneurs regardless of your niche.
Whether it's to collect emails, sell products, or offer courses.
You need a place to funnel your traffic. So let's dive in.
1. Super.so
Super.so is a great website host if you love Notion.
They are a great place to make no-code, great-looking pages with instant page loads, from Notion pages.
The free version includes hosting on the super.site domain, custom themes and customer support.
One downside of the free version is that the page will have the "made with super" badge.
For those who want custom domains, you can upgrade to the paid plan which is only $12 per month and includes even more custom templates and optimized SEO.
I currently am using Super.so for my website hosting, the downside here is selling products can be a little frustrating with integrations.
2. Typedream.com
Type dream is a fan favorite from people like @heyeaslo on twitter.
Includes:
A simple editor
60+ templates
Notion like interface
Free plans
And $12 per month if you want a custom domain.
Typedream is great if you want to integrate things like an email list and selling products.
Unlike Super.so Typedream offers a more traditional website presence. Which depending on what you do, might be better for you.
3. Bio.Link
Similar to the famous Linktr.ee, Bio.link is a simple landing page that displays who you are, what you're about, and your important links.
The difference here is Bio.link is free forever.
This is great for those who want low overhead and to run affiliate marketing deals or even sell your own products.
If you want to just link all of your social media accounts together in one place, this is the perfect place to do it.
The only downside here is you are limited to a simple landing page, and a certain number of links and there is no custom domain option.
4. Znaplink.com
Znaplink is a similar host to Bio.link however, they offer a paid version with custom domains and 3rd party integrations.
You can add your Twitter feed, your latest YouTube posts, and more, all embedded into your landing page.
The free version does include unlimited links but, if you want a custom domain you will have to upgrade to their paid $10/month plan.
5. Carrd.co
Carrd.co is a simple one page website hosting service that you can sell products on, and even collect emails.
It's great for those who want a simple design without any of the fuss.
I used Carrd.co on my first website and it was great, but I personally just needed more flexibility.
They offer free templates, like most of the other services I've talked about today.
However, their paid plans start at $19/month.
The Bottom Line:
I started off using Carrd.co and then moved to Super.so to try out hosting my website on Notion pages.
Both of these services worked absolutely perfectly for what I was using them for. But, I am now thinking about switching to Typedream.com for a more traditional website layout.
What it comes down to for you is determining what service is best for you.
Determine what you want to sell or provide, and pick the plan that provides you with the features you need.
But now, after knowing all of this. What are you waiting for?
Now is the perfect time to start if you don't have a website yet.
